WELCOME MONIKA HOLM – ASSISTANT CASTING DIRECTOR
Monika Holm is an actor, dancer, stage combatant and now assistant Casting Director who loves to dream big.
Monika’s love of the Performing Arts began in Oakland, CA where she was born and raised. She currently lives in Seattle, WA which is where she met Casting Director Nike Imoru. In Season 1 Monika started by volunteering her considerable abilities as a techie and assistant. She was invited back to work as an intern in Season 2 and trained in all aspects of the casting cycle. She also helped to create and manage an incredible casting database for Z Nation Producers, with a unique interface that was streamlined and super friendly to use. Her “official title” is The Jedi Master because of the way that she anticipates problems and (dis)solves them creating technical-casting magic and miracles! This pleases her boss.
In theatre her acting credits include working with Richard Grey, Robert Wright in Cornish College of the Arts Productions of the Senior Cabaret, and Mary Bennet in Pride and Prejudice. She’s been trained in dance by Tinka Gutrick-Dailey. She recently appeared in Two Pictures as Bianca by Seattleite Films.
Monika has her BFA in Theater from Cornish College of the Arts. She is also Stage Combat Certified: Basic Pass in Unarmed, Broadsword, Rapier and Dagger by the SAFD, 2012.
She is thrilled to be partnering with Nike to bring great NW talent to the screen.
